About me

I am Sophie Linton, a Hereford based wedding celebrant. I live with my husband, baby daughter and our lazy douge de Bordeaux.
I was inspired to turn my hand to celebrancy as I have been in the wedding industry for a number of years as a wedding coordinator and I can honestly say, that I love all of my couples and I hold so much appreciation to each one. I love getting to know their stories, their families and playing a small part in their big day, so this avenue opens me up to meeting more fabulous couples and being their love storyteller.
I have also been in the presence of many registrar led ceremonies. Through the planning process as a wedding coordinator, I would always recommend my couples to look into having a celebrant as part of their ceremony for that unique touch. I just became ever more intrigued in the concept, until I bit the bullet in 2022 and joined The Academy of Modern Celebrancy.
I want to be the celebrant that makes someones important day that much more meaningful and for the ceremony to be that much more memorable for everyone!
My role as a celebrant is such a precious one that I do not take lightly, I understand the importance of the big day as a whole and how every couple have a distinct story and want a certain creative narrative for their ceremony that suits them.
I will bring a sunny disposition with a personal and friendly touch from the first meeting right until your 'I Dos'. I want you to enjoy your ceremony from start to finish whilst feeling calm that you are in safe hands.
Even though I live in Herefordshire, I do love to travel, so I am available for ceremonies across the UK and worldwide. Wherever the wind (or couple) takes me.
